Wild Lights in Wild Life at Phoenix ZooLights Displays
A pair of sunglasses might be helpful at night at the Phoenix Zoo as the Phoenix ZooLights bring to life 3.5 million lights with over 600 light displays of animals, flowers and more. This spectacular event has been a Christmas family tradition for 20 magical years.
The ZooLights is all happening at the Phoenix Zoo, located at 455 North Galvin Parkway, Tempe, Arizona from the 24th of November to the 8th of January at 6pm to 10pm. Just follow the beaming lights and the next thing you know you’re right there! It’s hard to miss.
Every year, ZooLights think of new and inventive ways of captivating everyone. This year, be wowed and entertained by various interesting exhibits great for photo opportunities, activities for the family that’s proudly presented and brought to you by SRP. Spot the enormous new 3D Praying Mantis, experience the life-size unicorn under a rainbow, Jengo the Talking Giraffe and the exciting Music in Motion dancing tree show, but don’t fright at the fierce, life-size 3D lion that may be crawling right behind you; and watch for many more!
The ZooLights is one of the largest holiday light shows in the country as well as the largest multi-day fundraiser. With over 250,000 visitors coming and attending ZooLights, there’s no surprise as to why this much talked-about event is so popular!
All the fun and festivities doesn’t only happen at night. In the daytime, while the sun is high up, complemented by crisp blue skies, you may want to experience the 200 foot long Phoenix Zoo Polar Slide. It is the first simulated snow tubing in the Southwest. The Polar Slide is open during daytime hours and will also be open during ZooLights.
